Just Like Me
As some of you may know I (Mas Appeal) have had the chance to work in a summer camp over the last two weeks called "Just Like me", which helps Foster and Troubled Kids focus on new ways to express themselves through art! I am specifically in charge of 5 kids and my job is to teach them how to Rap!
It has been an awesome week and we almost have our song for the project finished! The kids are challenged to write, record and preform a song in 8 days! Most have little to no musical training, have never wrote a structured song or have never been in a studio! This is where I come in to guide them!
I have been giving them guidance on their technics but giving them 100% creative control so they can tell their story! One thing I want to do is give them a chance to have a dope "Outfit" when they perform! I am trying to get them matching airbrushed shirts for their performance! This is where I need help! I am trying to raise roughly 150 dollars to get this done! The shirts are estimated at $30 a piece and would include their "Rap" names in different colors!
