December's Beat Battle Rules & Sample
It’s time for the next Producers Pub Edition Beat Battle! The sample this month was selected by last month’s winner DJ Burn and well….it’s a song to get us all ready for the Holidays! The song is Paul McCartney’s Wonderful Christmas Time! If you’re not in town that’s ok…we also have an online version of the beat battle. The rules are the same however your submission has to be in a few days earlier.
The night will get kicked off at 6 with DJ Crumbs getting busy on the 1’s & 2’s! As always there is NO COVER for the event and drafts are ONLY $3! Hookah’s Start at 10 dollars! Chomp Chomp has all your Grub needs available next door!
Following the Battle we will have a live Beat Set & Performance from Ether Chambles & “Q”
If you are interested in submitting a beat for the battle please see the rules below:
- Entrants MUST use the sample in their beats
- Beats Should not be longer than TWO minutes
- Beats must be submitted by Dec 1st (Online Submissions will be due Nov 29th)
- Email Beats to hiphopandhookah@gmail.com
- Put ONLINE or LIVE BEAT SUBMISSION in the SUBJECT LINE
- You can only submit to one battle. (Live or Online)
- Voting will be held at the live event at Burro Bar or Online between Nov 30th - Noon December 3rd
